About Renee Gerke
As a native of the Pacific Northwest, Renee grew up in western Oregon and later moved to western Washington living on an island in Puget Sound. She worked in the hospitality industry and along with her husband owned restaurants where she was a renowned chef. Needing a change after spending many years in hospitality, the family decided to relocate to sunny Arizona. Renee found her love of people and finances blend well into the mortgage industry. She attended the Arizona School of Real Estate in 2003 to learn the mortgage industry and gained further education and certification through the National Association of Mortgage Brokers and National Association of Professional Mortgage Women having obtained the certifications of Certified Residential Mortgage Specialist and Graduate of Mortgage Lending in 2007. She has been employed in the mortgage industry since 2003. Renee is an active member of AzAMP (Arizona Association of Mortgage Professionals), National Association of Professional Mortgage Women and National Association of Mortgage Professionals and is a Licensed Loan Officer in Arizona and California. Additionally, she has published articles in the Capitol Times, Sonoran Spotlight, Sonoran Living and Scottsdale Senior Living Magazines. Renee has performed volunteer work with the Child Crisis Center and Save the Family in Mesa and is a past member of Mahnah Club of the East Valley, a service organization.
