Born and raised in St. Louis, MO, Brian joined the Army out of High School in 1999. He served in a variety of positions in several different countries, but most notably serving in both Iraq and Afghanistan before leaving the Army in 2005. Soon afterwards, he served as a private military contractor until 2008. After suffering wounds overseas requiring him to retire, Brian turned his attention to what would prove to be his niche VA mortgages. Brian started working for a branch of a mortgage company with no real VA experience, and soon used his military and VA knowledge to start a VA team that soon became the number one VA purchase funder in the company. Now, a member of the Peoples Mortgage family, he continues to use his specialty knowledge to help veterans purchase and refinance their homes all over the country.
